I’m brazilian ,and I’m so proud of myself , when I decided to teach myself at home, I didn’t even know how to construct a sentence in English, 2 years later, I didn’t even imagine that I could be here , listening to podcasts and understanding every single word that you guys are saying, thank you so much , and continue recording classes to help people like me .

Edit. Guyys passing by to tell you that I’m miles ahead with English, comparing to 6 months ago when I posted this comment. I’m not saying that what i’ve learned about English, came from this Channel, but videos like this, made me more accurate and fluent, of course, practicing all of the English skills together helped me to become more fluent! That’s my tip for y’all!

This was super interesting! I’m currently tutoring English and when I watch this it’s very thought provoking to analyse jargon and colloquial language, as you never really think about it until such an example arises.

*I’m Brazilian and when I started studying English years ago I learned mostly because of your videos. Before I always thought: “I don’t know if I can do that.” And now, after one year, here I am, speaking English easily. Thank you, Alisha.* ?

I was impressed by the word “practice fearlessly”. By that word, I realized that I was proud of my obtained skills, which is my comfort zone. The example of learning dance is so persuading, too. Don’t feel shy or fear, or don’t grow up.

  14. Julia Pan
