Wow. Just wow. I’m only like 5 minutes in this hour long video and I’m already thoroughly engaged and learning these faster than in duolingo. You’re absolutely amazing. It’s a shame I’m at work and on a 15 minute break and can’t stick around for the whole thing because I’d absolutely use you as a guide for learning the second Japanese alphabet. And I might go watch the hiragana video too, if there is one, to see if theres any other easier ways to remember things that I didn’t think of.

Risa Sensei seriously is the best teacher, her tone, and attention to pronunciation is what I loved best about the Hiragana and Katakana courses. Thank you for believing in us! ? Onto the next journey in learning Japanese! ありがとう?

  3. As a Korean I can’t help but appreciate how beautiful the Japanese language is. I love my own language too—it’s very unique and clever—but there’s something about Japanese that makes it so compelling. The language and culture of Korea are quite similar to that of Japan but at the same time very different too. I just love Japan’s culture, language, and creative industries (anime and music) so much. I’m really looking forward to the day I can speak Japanese like a native and this was one big step towards that. The mnemonics were so helpful for real. Thank you ❤

Finally finished with this video?? Took 2-3 days. Just as long as it took me to learn hiragana. I am fairly surprised at how quickly I understood, honestly thought it would take a month but it was basically a week to know all the syllables. Now all I gotta do is memorize/understand, learn new words and pronounce the words as close to a native as possible. Then onto the infamous kanji. For those still going through the process of learning, がんばっで! Do your best and remember you don’t learn something going new without consistency and understanding!

I’m Brazilian but I’m also fluent in English. That’s why I’m able to understand this video. And I must say your videos are the best that I’ve found on YouTube teaching Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. They have helped me a lot and I feel more confident to improve my Japanese studies. Thank you so much!
