i wish i had a friend
@Maegnil Dianians bro u should delete this comment, you sound very stupid. Acting as if you have met over 10 japanese people and became close friends with them. People do what u said ALL OVER THE WORLD so its like saying not to ever aproach an American(or wherever u live/your race).
“Dont ever aproach a japanese” god damn u sound *so* dumb. Check your “fax”.
Thanks for this. I’ve been trying to study up on stuff so I don’t make a fool of myself when I go to Japan in a week or so,
Would be good to have an English transliteration of these Japanese phrases. Those who can read the Japanese already, probably know these basic phrases anyway. Those, who don’t, will not be able to catch these phrases straight away, unless they can see them written in English.

Ok
Hello! I’m currently an English teacher in Beijing. I’ve taught English across 3 countries: S.Korea, Japan and China. I spent 7 years in all but China, which is 3.5years so far. I’m trying to move back, but the borders are closed. I also love to study about various cultures and post videos about them as I see them. Just like other cultures around the globe, Japanese culture is very interesting/unique and there are always tidbits that you don’t really learn until you live there. I love the video..so you have my sub!
I have spent months studying how to talk Japanese online and discovered a great resource at Fergs magic blueprint (google it if you are interested)
no it only say bad gateway and can’t enter to it
instaBlaster.
I’m trying to learn all about japan, because I plan on going there one day, thank you for this!
Did you go?
One question. I went to Japan once during a vacation and I stayed in Tokyo most of the time, I had the opportunity to know other amazing places during my stay as Kyoto and Nagoya. During one of these trips I took a Shinkansen and while I was waiting for the train to come, a young boy, about 16 to 18 years old passed by carrying a pile of books and suddenly the top book on the pile fell off right beside me, I automatically grabbed the book and put it back on the top of the pile that the young men was holding. He instantly apologised to me in a crying tone saying “summimasen!” and left the station running, visibly embarrassed. That was pretty awkward and I’ve been wondering since that day, what he apologized for?
If a fellow Japanese could enlighten me on this question I would gladly appreciate It. I’m from Brazil BTW.
Maybe he apologized because he disturbed you for a moment and you picked his book up who knows
I want to know too.
jackspyccer im commenting because i wanna know too
I cannot believe you made lessons to teach that people need to hold their bags in front of them and step out of the train to let others get out. Until I moved from Russia to Europe, it was such a culture shock because people are completely unaware of what’s going on around them, everyone is so focused on themselves. I wish this video will be showed in European schools and I will stop getting hit by bags and pushed by angry crowd who doesn’t let me to get out of the train because they want to enter faster and take empty sits. Also it shocked me that people can enter houses with their dirty outside shoes on, we don’t act like this in Russia that’s rude for us
I always did something like this even subconsciously but now i am always careful not to annoy others especially on public transport
Thank you! This was really helpful as I am trying to learn more about Japanese culture!

I just realized how rude American culture is lol
@Deleted “WHERE TF ARE MY CHICKEN NUGGETS?!?”- some American Karen at a McDonalds.
Do Americans have polite culture? 😭😭
Rude? Dont you mean funny
“Get tf out of my way I’m getting ice cream!” – some American
It’s beautiful inheriting another culture and learning it. How I love being unique.
Of course, we have to learn how to breath air in Japanese manners.
